Dr Glancy performed a total ankle replacement on my right ankle on Thursday 3/19/2026. He sent me home post op with ZERO pain meds or other pain management recommendations afterwards. He straight lied to us about having pain medication sent to pharmacy, then had his assistant call me after we got home to try and kiss it off to pain management and tell me Dr Glancy was refusing to send meds. On EVERY SINGLE PRE-OP appointment, I told him that pain management told me would not cover surgical meds, as they were not performing the surgery and would have no idea what I needed. Pain management specifically stated any post op medication would have to be prescribed by the surgeon. This was again discussed just before surgery in pre op as well as in recovery afterwards with Dr Glancy telling me he had already sent them and I would be able to pick them up. Straight lie to me and my wife. I am now on Day 2 post op, in excruciating pain, unable to sleep, and still no post surgical meds after having my entire ankle sawed out of my foot, and new hardware screwed into what was left over! Of course it’s the weekend, and no way to contact anyone til Monday. My wife contacted the JFK manager who reviewed the surgical notes and could find no mention of any post op pain management plans anywhere in my surgery documentation. I would have refused this surgery had I known he was planning on doing this to me, and you should refuse any surgery from him.

The staff is always very friendly and professional. Dr. Wehrli is very thorough and kind. My mother, the patient, is almost 90 and he always makes her feel welcome and comfortable. And we never wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen. We love this office!
