About Dr. Croff
As an expert board-certified podiatrist with extensive training in minimally invasive surgery and total ankle replacements, Douglas Croff, DPM, is a leader in comprehensive foot and ankle care. Dr. Croff treats patients at Coachella Valley Foot and Ankle Institute, which is based in Rancho Mirage, California.
After earning his Bachelor of Science with a double major in biology and chemistry from the University of Utah, Dr. Croff went on to medical school. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. Dr. Croff then finished a top-rated foot and ankle surgical residency at the nationally renowned Detroit Medical Center through Wayne State University in Michigan.
He even went through an extensive surgical and joint replacement fellowship with Ben Wehrli, DPM, and the two physicians have been working alongside each other ever since. Plus, to ensure he’s always up-to-date in modern solutions in the ever-changing field of podiatry, Dr. Croff went on to become board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
A native of Northern Utah, Dr. Croff grew up with a passion for sports and the great outdoors. When he’s away from the clinic, Dr. Croff enjoys spending his free time doing any activity in which he can participate with his two young boys. He also regularly volunteers his time by providing medical care on the sidelines at the games of the local high schools and semi-professional sports teams.
Dr. Croff understands the difficulties and challenges patients face when it comes to foot and ankle pain, injuries, and surgeries. Patients of Dr. Croff appreciate his compassion and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure they get the care they need through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery stages.
